Directed by Action director and former stunt double David Leitch . He has the delicious action/comedies  Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde, Bullet Train , was director John Wick as his credits.

Ryan Gosling is Colt Seavers , a stunt double for a popular actor Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor Jackson). Emily Blunt is Jody Moreno, an assistant director on the same picture. Seavers and Moreno have a thing and it all seems ok until a stunt goes wrong and we are shown that he has given up the job and is now a valet at a restaurant. 

Seavers gets a call from the producer Gail (Hannah Waddingham, from Ted Lasso!) for a part in a movie which now Jody is directing (surprise!!). Colt reluctantly agrees, but it is after all a chance  to reconnect with Jody and heads to Sydney. Turns out that he has been summoned to find Tom Ryder, who has gone missing.

That is the plot, if you really care for one!, i didnt! I watched it for the smooth chemistry between the leads. The rock and pop score,  accentuated by the different versions of "I was made for loving you" by Kiss and songs by Phil Collins, Taylor Swift, AC/DC. Ryan Gosling is charming and looks a million bucks. Emily Blunt is always lovely on screen , especially with her British accent and smile! 

Overall - the movie which you will not revisit, but will have a decent time when you watch. A Hindi remake with Hrithik Roshan, anyone?

Ps:- Turns out The Fall Guy used to be an 80's US TV Show (which i did not know) and there is a nice cameo featuring the leads from the show towards the end.
